Official announcements and happiness!
What do you do if you haven't been to Imzy for a day?
I have given up on trying to go through my whole feed since the last time I logged in because there's just not enough time to catch up.

Not going through your whole feed?!
FOR SHAAAME!!!
There's GOLD in there... GOLD!
I wish an artificial intelligence would prioritize that gold for me. :)
It will! Just not yet.
Bless you, kind sir!

I like that tag line, @time_spinner.
I don't think I've been off imzy since I got on.
Which explains why LGC and Moonbeam are two of the most popular communities. :)
If anyone has any Imzy consumption efficiency tips they'd like to share, I'm all ears.
Sometimes I have trouble keeping up with the notifications, too.
I scroll through my whole feed.
which is like 1 or 2 posts lol

How about /lets_grab_coffee?
Honestly I'm still trying to figure it what it is I want out of Imzy that I don't get elsewhere and what I can put into it that is unique to this platform. It still feels a little disjointed community-wise as the culture develops (at least IMO).
I run the filmmaking community and am trying to figure out the best ways to utilize it and where our focus is. I don't want just a carbon copy of /r/filmmaking - I get plenty of it on reddit - so I'm curious to see A) what organically comes of Imzy communities, B) what sort of "attitude" develops, and C) what I get on the filmmaking group here I can't get on the dozens of other forums and platforms I constantly visit.
I like the positive vibe here, but I just don't see enough engagement yet to really gauge it. Just my two cents, not really a knock on the platform (I get it's still not fully open yet so interaction is reduced) I just don't have enough experience on it or enough interactions to answers these questions yet.
I hear you.
@dan might be interested in reading what you wrote.
I lead some communities here and I enjoy them because of several regulars who return every day.
You're right, and thanks for sticking with us. Our goal is that in the near future our features will give you enough of new and our culture will grow enough that it all clicks. It takes time, and patience from us and you!
Thanks for the honesty.
Agreed that it takes time. Contributing what I can.
Happy to help! I try to make sure I'm not crossing the line from "constructive critique" to "complaining" haha. Glad y'all are listening and don't take these things personally (not to condescend, I know I have a hard time separating my work from a reflection of myself)
I only go through the whole feeds of the communities I moderate.
How many communities is that?
Does it take a long time?
Still trying to suss out what I can do for Imzy and in turn what Imzy can do for me.
What you get out of it is what you put into it.
The more you comment the more replies you will get.
As a preteen I had to request admittance to a high school that was outside of my province (I wanted more opportunity in which they provided).
The principal of the high school said exactly what you said when I was questioned as to why I wanted to attend:
It's true for most things in life.
Health, education, /kindness, work, marriage.
And Imzy. :)
cc @dan
I have never benefitted from something I didn't put effort into. I would never expect to benefit from a community I didn't care a great deal about.
But caring is hard. We will succeed but it will take time to find enough great people (like you and the others in this thread) to help others to see the value in caring.
Well said, Dan.
I'm very aware that a flywheel is hardest to move at the beginning.
