Family of Five-Year-Old Child Desperate as Search for Stolen Nose Continues

Police are still investigating a robbery that occurred in Lansing, Michigan earlier this week. Reports say five year old Kelsey Manning had her nose stolen by her grandmother. According to officials, the robbery occurred while Kelsey was at her grandma's house. Her grandmother placed her index and middle finger around her nose and pulled it off of her face. At that moment, Kelsey's nose had disappeared, nowhere to be found.

"We don't know what happened," Mrs. Manning told reporters. "Grandma said 'got your nose', and just like that, it was gone!"

As the search continues, Kelsey's parents are trying their best to make it through this difficult time. "We've looked everywhere," Mrs. Manning said. "Her nose is nowhere to be found. You know, people come over when Kelsey hasn't taken a bath for a while, and they say, 'wow, she smells really bad.' And I tell them, no, she doesn't smell really bad. She doesn't smell anything. She CAN'T smell anything. People can be so insensitive."

While the search has been going on for three days, police are still hopeful that they can find the lost nose. Deputy Michaels released a public statement yesterday, saying the following: "When somebody loses a nose, it's an absolute tragedy. Having a nose is a crucial part of living a full and happy life. We are doing everything we can to get Kelsey's nose back and restore balance to her life."

When asked if the police knew where the nose was located, Michaels responded, "as of right now, nobody nose."
