There is no correct Theory of Trump.

Because we are still conditioned to expect better from a political figure who isn't Kim Jong Un or Idi Amin.
Or Hitler.
Mmmno. In my experience much of thedialogue that surrounds him involves documenting what he's doing and what that means for the U.S. and the world.
It's entirely possible that I just haven't read enough of the more analytical pieces that fall from Trump's whirlwind of chaos. I'm personally more prone to read the "what's happening?" pieces as opposed to the "let's philosophize" pieces. That said, I think people are telling it exactly like how it is. They show him as the impulsive, bewildering, fart he is. So much of the commentary is "who knows what's coming in the next few days, "which speaks to the fact that we are indeed acknowledging his destructive impulsivity.
I think this very article is guilty of doing what it claims everyone is doing. It's more a peek into the author's own inclinations to make sense of things by overanalyzing this crusty, orange baby's behavior.
I feel like most of us are too busy saying, "no. Stop. No. Stop. What are you doing? NO. WHAT? WAIT. NO!" to really have time or interest to understand a former reality TV star who doesn't respect women and pretends to like black people.
We know exactly what he is. We've been saying it for the longest time. That's why most of us didn't even take him seriously when he started running.
Exactly, we expect leaders who at least pretend to care about the country and citizens for the most part. We dont expect leaders who leak classified information, who bomb another country because they didnt have after dinner entertainment during a dinner with another world leader. A leader who contradicts himself multiple times in a few hours, who also fires the guy leading the investigation into his ties to a foreign country. We have also never had a president who keeps their own businesses and who tweets about companies not selling his families products.
Basically nothing he is doing is normal and none of it really makes much sense unless he is only looking out for himself and what he wants at that very moment. That is the only reason this article kind of makes sense to explain Trump. Normal rules for any other top position at a company or as POTUS dont apply to him for what he is doing or what he has done.
Ok...
Blah sorry he just kind of makes me a little mad. The stuff he does is stuff you would expect from a 3rd world dictator not a US president.
Have you seen this? https://youtu.be/5IPyv4KgTAA
It's a documentary about Roger Stone (I'm watching it right now), which doesn't seem to be changing how I view Trump, but I think as far as explanations go, this is one of the better ones. So many of of his actions wind up with "because x person told him to". I think this documentary speaks to that specific aspect of his decision-making.
I heard about it and read a review of it over the weekend but havent seen it yet. Its supposed to be pretty good even though Stone is a pretty bad person. How do you like it?
It's pretty good. I think it's put together well so far. Good portrait of evil.
My goodness. I'll say this much: I'd be very surprised if this dude didn't have a bodyguard.
Roger Stone? He keeps complaining the "deep state" keeps assassinating him but its ok because he gets better.
That actually makes things even scarier. Trump doesnt do thing for any other reason then he wants to with no real though to back them up.
