This is a PEACEFUL community meant for people who refuse to celebrate Donald Trump and his cult of personality .
What is the purpose of this community?
Of course no one here is happy that Trump is going to be inaugurated on the 20th. But, is that all that is accepted heres as posts...bashing Trump?....can't we get beyond that and begin to at least TRY to understand how we ended up with a historic loss? Denial and hatred are not healthy. Honesty and humor is what I am providing. Thanks for all your responses....let's keep it fun and creative!

I believe that it's not that we're all hating him just on the grounds of being "sore losers", but that Trump does not deserve respect until he gives it to all Americans. The only people he's shown respect to is people who are his lapdogs, or people whom he is a lapdog to.
I agree with you. Most of us are trying to understand what the heck happened on 11/8/16....A lot of people are sickened by a guy who has one of the most inhuman hairstyles on the planet, is 70 years old, yet,.. is the jedi-master of twitter!!! It's mind-blowing!
We lost because we use an electoral system. I don't understand why. Hillary won the popular vote by over 3 Million votes. Trump has the highest disaproval rating for a President coming into office. People really fucking hate him the majority of people who voted didn't vote for him.
Yes she did win the popular vote. But that wasn't the contest she was engaged in. She chose to go to fundraisers in Hollywood and the Hamptons instead of campaigning in Wisconsin. She is/was not in the best of health. She lacked the stamina to compete in the final weeks. She knew the rules. Our party raised millions more than the other party, we had the majority support of the media, the entertainment industry, labor unions of every kind, Latinos, LGBT, Asians, and on and on and on, and she still lost in a sea of red across the nation. Here is the truth: Hillary Clinton is going to attend the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump. We are in a different world now. She has accepted his victory, because to not do so would be "horrific" (her own words from the debates) There is a lot I don't like about Donald Trump, but, like Hillary I have accepted that he is going to be our next President. Now, can we pleeeease get the Hollywood types to stop making those hostage-video grade advertisements where they plead with people. It is so unattractive and ineffective. Clearly it makes them feel better about themselves but it has the opposite effect among the electorate. By the way don't underestimate how many people REALLY hate Hillary and her vile husband. That was a big part of the answer to why she lost.
For one, the majority of your posts are neither honest nor humorous and captioning a bad photo of Hillary Clinton with a facetious "I'm with her" doesn't count for trying "to understand how we ended up with a historic loss".
Secondly, and more critically, the purpose of the community is in the title. /Imzyians_against_Trump is about criticizing Trump, sometimes with humour and sometimes with legitimate critique. Posting anti-Clinton memes daily does not qualify as a criticism of Trump and is thusly not relevant to the community. This community isn't about "bashing Trump"; it's merely one of the facets of the greater purpose.
To discuss the Democrats' failings in this election, maybe visit a more general purpose community like /politics or create a more specific one that suits your interests. If you find the kind of content this community is geared towards to be boring then that's a clear sign it's not for you, both in the sense that your content doesn't belong and in the sense that you don't have the right to curate it as you see fit.
Allow me the temerity to highlight the key sentence of your explanation of the purpose of this community....here it is..."This community isn't about "bashing Trump"; it's merely one of the facets of the greater purpose" ....hmmmm...."merely one of the facets of the greater purpose" this "facet" you mention is the purpose! Just be honest and a little less faux intellectual and you will be more believable. My posts are getting more responses in this community than yours or any other single participant because they are funny, informative, and creative (i.e. not boring) and they are challenging to the echo-chamber you seem to think exists here. Try to have fun and keep an open mind. Don't be so fearful of being challenged. It's healthy!
It isn't, though. Why would you go through the trouble of making this post if you already (think you) know what the community is for? Furthermore, why would you make the posts you do if you "know" they don't belong? Either you're a two-bit troll or you're just thick.
A) I don't know what you thought was dishonest about what I wrote. B) I'm not trying to be "believable", I'm trying to answer to a question in terms a person who doesn't understand basic English grammar can comprehend. C) Don't come at me with "faux intellectual" when you start your comment off with "Allow me the temerity to highlight the key sentence of your explanation".
Pretty well every reply to your posts is telling you to cut it with trolling the community. I'd been giving you the benefit of the doubt, but I'm starting to think you're more malicious than your are oblivious.
Stale memes and concern trolling are neither funny nor creative. How you've come to think a single one of your posts qualifies as informative is beyond me. Regardless, "boring" is subjective; I'd like to see you post something of your calibre on /news or /science and justify it by saying the lowest bar for quality is just too high for your standards.
Right, there it is. This community is an echo chamber because it doesn't espouse every single one of your beliefs, just like how a firehouse is an echo chamber because firefighters aren't trained to deal with tsunamis or a palaeontology conference is an echo chamber because there's no panel where discussing Precambrian invertebrates is considered valuable discourse.
I'll remember that advice as my people struggle to survive these next few years. You really are a wealth of untapped wisdom.
I don't mind being challenged, but I don't like entertaining the same stupid rhetoric on why Clinton was the real baddie in this election in a place for criticizing Trump any more than I like having to debate religion at the grocery store. There's a time and a place for everything and this community is neither for bland anti-Clinton whinging.
You really should consider checking your grammar before you post something. It doesn't reflect well on you and causes you to lose face.
AMEN, Data_7! Applause!
Thank you!
Yay! I am so giddy I think I peed myself!
Personally, I think the "why Clinton lost" question's overplayed. And if we're actually against Trump, I think discussing how to go about it in our lives is a good way to go.
I am just afraid that spending so much time hating on the guy is not going to work. He is like Godzilla.....the more you hit him with the electricity the stronger he gets.
I'm not talking about hating on him, though venting now and then is going to happen. I mean discussing how to counter his administration's attempts to wreck things.
