No Man's Sky Release Date Announced
No Man's Sky release date revealed
Sony and Hello Games have locked down the release date for No Man's Sky. Sony and Hello Games' ambitious space sim No Man's Sky will release on June 24 in the UK. That's a Friday, so expect it on June 21 in the US. The game has bec...
This is almost as AAA as indie games can get, I suppose, considering the amount of hype and backing for this game from Sony but it's a significant beast regardless. If NMS delivers on what it's promised it could continue to raise the bar for high-quality independent games for years to come.
Considering the size of the team and the level of execution involved though, even if it flops I will still be greatly impressed by what Hello Games has managed to put together (especially considering that flood they had last winter that halted a lot of their development). VERY COOL!!

Also as long as they have a package available on iam8bit they're definitively indie: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2016/03/03/no-mans-sky-release-date-collectors-edition-announced?watch
I am dying for this game to come out!
The only thing that's a real bummer to me is that the multiplayer is practically non-existent. :( You and your friends will be in the same galaxy but you will very likely never see each other.
agreeeeed. #foreveralone
IGN actually has quite a bit of solid coverage on the game which most sites don't have yet. Their gameplay videos here are very cool: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2016/03/03/no-mans-sky-ps4-hands-on-the-real-game-begins-to-reveal-itself
This game looks so Cool.
Have you seen much about it before now? There's been lots of speculation about the depth of it and if it will be worthy of all the hype; the $60 price tag recently announced also raised some eyebrows.
No I don't really fallow games though. The only game I have played in the last 4 years is fallout 4. Which I purchased a Xbox One to play it.
That's some dedication! Was it worth it? Also, that's very cool that you don't follow games and you're still able to hear about stuff like NMS. I'm gonna be posting more and more games in here going forward so hopefully it gives you some more visibility if you're interested :)
It's one of the things I like about the way this place is set up. I can flag comunities to follow and get content I am sort of intrested in and then dig more deepley into it if I am intrested, and those that are really into a topic have a place to post and talk about it with others.
