No. Just like, you know, I've gotten to that point where social decorum is just... pointless. So if someone is being mean, I might call them out. Or if something is clearly BS, I can't stand for it. It's gotten even more pronounced since going through all this medical stuff now I'm like "I'm going to say what I truly think, damn it" - so even though I'm a very polite person, I have this super steely interior that can come out if it's triggered by some kind of BS - so my family sometimes gets edge if I'm not playing by the rules :D
It's not like we ever have real fights though. In the Midwest, saying something as simple as, "Are you sure that's a good idea at your age?" is considered pugnacious, ha!
Haha! I bet I would be meek over there. Here in the midwest I'm wild and hard to control with my 'Actually this is what really happened' and 'If you insult me in my house, I'm going to politely ask you to leave'
Jessica Jones would be a great participant in /lets_grab_coffee.
Yes please! :)
I wonder what she would say if she were there.
This is why she's my role model!!!!
And why people worry about me at family parties.
Why would they worry about you?
Because you say what you want?
Yes :)
How is that bad? Swear words?

*May have also gotten worse since watching Jessica Jones....
'worse' ;)
Lol. Sounds like you got better.
Exactly. Not worse.
Totally did :D
It's so strange that that's pugnacious there. In California you'd fit right in.
Yeah I really like this version of Eilis.

Woo!
It's better to say what's on your mind.
It's kinder not to let people get away with mean words and behavior.
Yes you'd definitely be the polite one here.
That's a good thing too. :)
Seriously I like the super steely interior.
hehehe, good! It's likely here to stay!
Well that's good. Then you have it when you need it.
Yay! What about you? Do you have this inside, or being Californian, is it always there :)
It's always there.
I often wear it outside.
It makes life easier because I can just be me.
is that you???? :D
Ha! Not even close.
I actually look like a panda. :)
hehehehe
ahhhhhhh
Aww yiss!
That looks very much like me. :)
bwahaha.
