Personal community for jojopeanut. Hi!
I enjoy exercising.
I don't do an awful lot because I'm not binding myself to any particular goal. Not time, not distance, not weight of my body or weight to lift. I'm just trying to keep active and strengthen my body. Yoga in particular is helping a lot with my posture (as well as stress/relaxation). I also do strength training of various muscle groups and either takes walks or runs outside, or have little dance parties inside when the weather's bad. None of these workouts are particularly intense- challenging, make me breathe harder and sweat if my room is as warm as it ought to be (which it never is, the insulation is horrible), make me a little bit sore afterwards, but don't cripple me. I can feel myself getting stronger and more endurant, which is awesome. Just last night I tried out a couple pushups to show my family how difficult and pathetic mine are. They were still pretty bad, but after having done planks and a variety of arm strengthening exercises, they were far better than my last try months or years ago. I don't need to give anyone 50 pushups, I just need to keep my body healthy, and that's what I'm feeling 💪
