A way to fix the lore problem
Like we all know, there are many troubles with the lore, shown in the self game, (we could say it does not exist at all) so it should be fixed in some or another way. Some ways to do that (in my personal opinnion) is to:
- Add some kind of terminals, at different bases, (example can be Vanu archives or just the warpgates) which can contain info about different stuff, the technology, how it was discovered, a.s.o.
- When you first up start up the game, there can be played a short video, which can brake down what is Auraxis, and how, for sake of Vanu, did you get here. There are many ways to do something with this situation (in many creative ways).

I agree about the tutorial, but archives... Meh... I can just look it up on google
A "codex" tab in the menus, where you can look up different bits of lore could work for this, especially if they make (parts of) it narrated. - Similar to how the Mass Effect series handled it. Easy to find but not in the way.
If they really wanted to go the extra mile they could even make (part of) the lore you find in such a codex faction specific. E.g. The TR history articles placing an emphasis on the necessity of unity and duty, and how the NC and VS threaten to undermine this in their own ways. The NC putting emphasis on oppression by the TR and how the Vanu are effectively brainwashing people. And the VS espousing the importance of Vanu technology and filled with demonstrations of why not using it would be a bad idea. - Essentially adding a few hints of propaganda to the lore, depending on which faction you play.
No The before lore, in the game itself, some way or another,opinion,a short video played, break*, no "," between vanu and did. Got better xD
Land marks/points of interest should pop up more, both Aesthetically and game play wise, so people would pay attention to them Ex J3something-something crash site, capturing it give empire bonus blablabla. Then also add lores in loading screen than just the typical continent and very much obvious "tips"
There is also the idea of the sanctuarys, the terminals could go there if they ever become a thing
In sanctuaries there can be terminals explaining the faction.
I think some important bases should have their monitors (found in many rooms) changed to show actual lore about the empire who capped it. There was a video series, I can't remember the name, which explained all the lore and why the war became endless.
I will love to see lore in planetside the intro video is a cool thing, it can explain how the hell we get to auraxis. Also the tutorial could also be a part of the lore. Like you start during the beginning of the war and you learn every basic of the game agaisnt AI and a voice over of your faction leader explain how nanite work and must of all why you are fighting.
grammar mistake at #2, wrong type of break/brake. also #1 parentheses just read kinda weird, I might suggest moving the point about warp gates out and to where your explaining where they would go.
Beyond that I'd say that these are both fairly interesting ideas, although perhaps the vanu archives could be moved to the website and have the same sort of theme to it with that possibly being reflected in certain areas.
As for number 2 this video could also be used to show what each faction can and can't do, as there really isn't a whole lot currently and you may very well get with a faction you don't want long term.
