Blessings/prayers for anxiety?

Is there a blessing we can say during times that we're anxious/scared? I have panic disorder and agoraphobia and sometimes when I'm having a panic attack, I wish I had a blessing kind of like Mi Shebeirach but not for illness and something that can be said privately.

Well, remember that the root for r'fuah shlemah (my transliteration is horrible, forgive me) is completeness. Mi Shebeirach can be for healing of soul and troubles just as much as physical problems. And anxiety is an illness.

There are quite a few psalms that might fit the bill for saying quietly. 42:5-12 comes to mind.

      Here are some more Psalms:

      • 23:4
      • 34:4
      • 55:22
      • 94:19
      • 121:1-2
