Why Cards Against Humanity's Potato Super Bowl Ad Failed
Why Our Super Bowl Ad Failed
This weekend, Cards Against Humanity purchased an ad during the Super Bowl, the most-watched American television broadcast of the year, reaching 114.4 million viewers. Cards Against Humanity is known as an innovator in the games space, and we saw an opportunity to apply our unique brand of "outside the box" thinking to the old-fashioned world of Super Bowl commercials.

This is the best thing I have read in quite a while. Just kept laughing over and over again as I kept reading. Thanks @hwb for sharing this. I'm dying.

I still can't quite decide if they're actually going out of business. Or if this is a weird stunt. Or... what. They have one of the most popular board games going, so they can't really be out of money, can they?
No, in fact, when I read some other stuff, this commercial didn't even run during the super bowl at all. The whole thing is just made up and silly fun.
I'd love to see people arguing over this heatedly on Hacker News.
