'Killjoys' Proves TV Should Be Bold, Inclusive and Awesome
Endings are hard. Second seasons are hard. Making sci-fi funny, exciting, meaningful, and compelling all at once is hard. But on Friday, proved that it can take on the hard stuff, make it look easy, and even level up in the process.

Nice article. I agree with everything they say.
Season 2 had a different feel from S1, imo. I wonder if that same thing will be true in the next one.
I really liked how much bigger season 2 felt. I think they were smart giving us just glimpses of the parts of this universe in season 1, since the worldbuilding is so complex. Then in season 2 they had things set up enough to really dig into different aspects of it (how the royalty operated, the Scarbacks, the green good, etc).
I wonder if season 3 will get bigger still, maybe with where the invaders come from and such.
I agree with what they say too. I think it's obvious the show runners had a really detailed show bible put together S1; they didn't delve into it too deeply, but it was all there to reference and drop hints as needed and it let them really expand things S2 and build off what was already built and shown us in S1 and now they'll be able to just take things that much further in S3.
