How can we be kind to each other, to other creatures, and to the world?
Be kind to your knees. You'll miss them when they're gone.

Hmm, I dislocated my knee yesterday and have a sunburn. I fail.
It's never too late to make changes for the better.
Well, the knee's been a problem my whole life. It never occurred to me to wear sunscreen in the rain, though! Problem with glow-in-the-dark skin.
Yeah, sunscreen in the rain is not obvious. Lesson learned.
You've been dislocating your knee your whole life?!
All of my joints. I'm hyper-flexible. My knee and hip are particularly bad.
That's a shame because hyper-flexibility sounds like a good thing.
There's probably a good balance of being hyper-flexible and not. I've managed to twist my ankle in my sleep. For me it's more painful than useful.
Oh geez that sounds terrible! Is there anything you can do to assuage the effects going forward?
not really... painkillers and physical therapy
This reminds me of this.
Well I like the "be courteous, kind, and forgiving" part of Steve Martin's grandmother song.
What about being obsequious, purple, and clairvoyant?
Notsomuch. :)
What does it even mean to be purple? :) :)
Ask Trance?
Indeed, Trance is very purple.
I cannot remind people enough to be good to their knees.
And wear sunscreen.
And floss.
