Trusty garden fork saves the day
OK, it's really a "garden cultivator", three tines, slight curve, four foot or so long.
Turns out if you combine knitting skills, gardening skills, and electricity, you can hang Christmas lights on nails in the wall waaaaay above your head. So the lights are up.
I started my new position at Dell Boomi on Monday.
I'm loving it.
Not going into a whole lot more detail than that because a) most of it wouldn't make sense unless you'd been on my projects with me for the last few years and now are on new ones with me and b) I'm still in that stage where I'm constantly comparing my new job to my old job and that's not really fair to either company. So to say it's better or worse or different from the place I spent 16 years isn't worthwhile.
The only thing that really matters is that I'm very happy.
The dogs have spent a surprising amount of time outside despite the colder weather. Some of this is because I've been filling the bird feeders -- the birds and squirrels have been keeping the dogs amused. Some of it is because I've been putting the dogs in hoodies before sending them out so they're warm enough. Either way, they're cute and cuddly when they're cold, so I'm getting lots of doggie lap time.
In short, life is good.
