Basics and Fundementals
Hey KNKL community, its been a while since i posted anything here, anyways since the show has been goin back to the basics I think think I can find the answer to my question here. So I have been taking some online classes and watching tutorials on the basic fundamentals, right now im on perspective anatomy and color focusing on one at a time, but reading and listening to the tutorials and classes im not sure how to approach studying with what I have learned, for example i was highly encouraged to start with perspective, and so im learning 1 2 and 3 point perspective, in the class the teacher has laid out the idea that if you can draw the basic shapes in perspective you can draw anything, so after taking the info do you just keep drawing basic shapes in perspective to get better or is there something else to it?
Another question I have is how do u guys manage your time im working full time and am always tired by the time I get back to work how do u guys find the time to improve?
And my last question, does anyone know a good screen recorder that wont lag the computer?
sorry for the many questions all at once XD

Definitly keep studying the fundementals and basic shapes! But maybe also start including simple perspective from photo reference (since you probably get home late from work, other wise going on location would probably be better) That way, you have to find the vanishing points in real life instead of making them up. As far as time management goes, I write on a white board by my bed so I always have in mind when I need to be working on art, and if you're tired every night you could create a plan that will take longer but you can chip away more slowly at, if that makes sense? I remember way back in the day I used a super old version of Hypercam, I don't know if it's still free or not. On Mac, I've been using QuickTime since it came with the computer and has a really good screen capture (idk if Windows has that option)
Good luck and keep at it! :D
