Anki Flashcards
Anki - powerful, intelligent flashcards
This is one of my favorite ways to study and learn vocabulary. It's a free flashcard program that you download onto your computer and it works by spaced repitition.
Basically, you enter in the words for the flashcards, and when you study you guess the word (you can set it up to whether it just shows you the word or if you type in the word), it tells you if you're correct, and then you rate yourself on how well you remembered it. If you remembered it, then it will slowly increase the interval of time before you see the word again. If you didn't, it will show you the word again in fifteen minutes. It also limits how many new words you can be introduced to in one day, preventing overwhelming your brain. This type of studying has been shown to be more effective for long-term memory of vocabulary.
It's also highly customizeable - you can make it so it prompts you with both sides of the card, or where it has a fill-in-the-blank type setting, among other things.
Has anyone else used Anki?

Sounds cool, definitely going to check it out.
