Delete Super Sentai
May someone on the admin staff please delete the "Super Sentai" community? I don't know what I was thinking in creating it.

As a toku/sentai fan, aaaaw.
I'm sorry, man, but I really don't know what I was thinking there.
Rather than delete it, if you're willing to take over and if @NaruHina_Lover is ok with it, I can transfer it to you.
As this is a case that someone might want to take over, do you mind if I take it away from you and give it to someone else?
I'm actually ok with this.
Alrightee, I'll give @Time_Spinner a chance to say whether they want it before I put it up for grabs. Thanks for letting us know yuo'd rather not keep it :)
Let me actually join it, lest we discover what exciting things break when someone who's not formally a member of a community joins a community...
I am, like, 95% sure it should not break. Should.

Just hit up the search bar, type in "Super Sentai" and it should be the first thing to pop up.
We need a delete button, I asked for Rant to be deleted weeks ago and no updates or anything
hm this is tough.
As a hypothetical, what do you think about a leader deleting a community that has say, 1000 people, other leaders, and a super active and engaged community that has invested a lot of time and energy there?
If a community is active and has a large userbase the current leader should have no problem in selecting another leader to lead the communty, however the issue is even if you select another leader you still can't just leave because the feature is disabled.
So are you looking more for a delete button, or a "leave this leadership position" button?
A "Resign Leadership" button would be nice, allowing anyone else to pick it up.
Alternatively, if a community has no leader there could be an auto-post that allows any community member to "apply" for leadership, adding themselves as a poll option. Whoever has the most votes at the end of ~1 week would be granted the leadership position.
(Found this post when trying to figure out how to delete/leave a community I made)
Heya, totally agree that the "resign leadership" button would be a good idea. Something like that is in the works.
Right now, if a community doesn't have any leaders, our @imzy account will automatically "squat" the community and archive it.
We still have to decide the way we want to go about granting abandoned communities to new leaders. I have some concerns about the "popularity contest" type factor that could be an issue with voting, but that doesn't mean it isn't the correct solution, it might just need some careful consideration and trying to mitigate some issues that might come up with that.
