A community for leaders on the Imzy platform.
Planning communities!
Let's Grab Coffee! - What LGC looks like off the computer! ... now - View - Imzy
We've got such a variety of themes, events, and interests here, that I had to find a way to get organized big time, in terms of the posts I'm in charge of! Here it is! The chalkboard wall of LGC and M...

I finally arranged LGC's rather vast array of interest and events into a planning system that is still creative and flexible enough to allow for change! So I was excited.
But it got me wondering, what do you as community leaders do to help you stay organized and/or maintain the right flow of activity in your community?
Do you have advice or tips from your own community creations?

Ok so first and foremost. The chalkboard is awesome. I've been using Trello and Leankit myself to make my own boards like such. However not 100% sure which I like more.
Trying to find a way online to better organize myself, and put it somewhere that others can see it if I allow. I don't really care for having a lot of different app's I have to use to manage a community, so I'm trying to figure out what I like about the "sticky note" on a board most that help me organize my work.
Then I'm trying to see what I could suggest I may look to create for leaders to use. Maybe something leaders could pay for to enable on their community. Allowing the most serious ones to use within Imzy.
I suggest this as I don't really care to have 100 different apps to have to use to manage a community. I would prefer to have 1 or 2 at most :).
I literally have to plan physically in the real world :) Online planning is lost on me!
I've been looking into this heavily over the last week. So I'm going to be that guy who says I'll post something better about this tonight :)
I think LGC is more diverse as a community than many other communities.
I mean, for /Judaism I try post articles and discussions a few times a week. And people come in and ask questions as they want, but by nature, and by the size of the community, it's not as busy as LGC.
For /we_love_dick we're just posting pictures and videos and polls and having a grand old time with what comes up.
For /homeworkhelp nothing's happened other than an introduction post. People might start needing help on homework as the school year gets underway, though.
Office 365 - Primarily OneNote and Planner.
I love OneNote - Hate the cost :)
It's free.

You can download the full OneNote 2016 version for free. This is NOT the stripped down Universal Windows App.
Ahh.... I only use it with Office, so guessing office is the cost and OneNote is free to use for us? I'll check this out :)
Yeah, it comes with Office too, but they also give it specifically for free. The other Office apps are still only available as a paid download.
Gotcha, learn something new everyday! :)
Whoa, this is amazing!! Thanks to all of you who work so hard to create and lead such great communities. ❤
<3 yay!
I've got a mini version of such in the works in my bullet journal.
