Patience and Sarah by Isabel Miller. The original self-published lesbian romance hit, circa 1969. <3
I just read that as an audiobook read by Janis Ian. It was fabulous.
It makes me so happy! I can only imagine what it would have been like to find it at the time, especially for closeted lesbians.
Lesbian Pulp Fiction: The Sexually Intrepid World of Lesbian Paperback Novels, 1950-1965 edited by Katherine V. Forrest.

That sounds like fun!
I would read this!
My suggestion is The Dark Wife by Sarah Diemer, a retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, where the Lord of the Underworld is actually a Lady.
I like the premise but the reviews seem pretty mixed...
It's good, but a bit rape-y. (Het rape-y, I mean.) I know that comes with the Greek Myth territory, but it can be triggering.
Still, it's my favourite of Diemer's books. I like her Hansel and Gretel retelling a lot, too.
Let me guess, it's rape by Divine Allfather Dick, aka Zeus, am I right?
Out of curiosity and before I purchase it, how graphic is it?
Absolutely.
It's not graphic at all. Persephone herself isn't raped, but the rape threat looms pretty big, and her first gf and her mother are raped.
That doesn't seem too bad, I'll give it a try. Thank you!
My suggestion is Blind Bet by Tracey Richardson https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8515275-blind-bet
