I was gonna say Cintiq, but that's a it more than $80. I've always been a fan of Wacom and have one of the older Intuos models.
Happy Birthday, by the way! Yay!

If you want my older Intuos...

Yes, really. I'm not 100% sure if the software is updated for macOS, but I'll happily send the tablet and pen to you. I think I still have the mouse for it too. I can look around tomorrow and see.

No problem. I hope you enjoy your tablet!
I don't have personal experience with any of them, but I did a ton of reading on all of those brands a couple years ago. From what I've read, you really can't go wrong with any of them. I believe they all use the same drivers (at least, they used to).
I'd recommend googling specifically for issues between the tablet and your OS version. I'm not sure what the Mac experience is/was like, but a fair number of Windows users had trouble with the initial setup.
I briefly had one of the older Monoprice ones, but after struggling with drivers for a few days I got fed up and returned it. Other people reported no issues.
Happy Birthday!
I know nothing of drawing tablets so I will let someone who knows something give input.
