Really? What is it you don't like about them? For me I think they're probably one of the best book-to-screen adaptations I've seen of just about any movie/to show/book. Of course, they're not perfect, but I think it's pretty great. What part turns you off of it?
Now they've run out of book to adapt, the plots have gone really downhill. Also the fact that they squeezed three books into one season, and made some ridiculous character decisions.
I just have been there on vacations, but I enjoy it! (: I haven't really spent a lot of time in Virginia, though it looks beautiful. Mostly SC, FL, some LA
This is missing Canada but most people here in Vancouver call it Pop. I still call it Soda but I grew up in New Hampshire where that's pretty much the only name used.
NOLA is great, but Lafayette really the "hidden gem". So much more culture here (we're the true heart of Cajun country) and none of the crazy tourist traps of NOLA. We're basically the Austin of Louisiana.
Fizzy drinks, because I'm a boring Brit.
I know that you're not boring because you named yourself after Lyanna.
Hat tip /game_of_thrones ...
I'm more of a fan of the books, not too keen on the quality of the show :P
You're only making me like you more.
The show is a diversion while we're waiting for book six to be published. :)

Is this seriously what you call them?
Yep! It's a British thing.
i've never heard anyone call it fizzy drink-- which means it's not boring!
I believe that's what Willy Wonka called them too.
pop! I find it funny when people call every pop a 'coke' though
When I grew up in California, I called it a Coke.
that's so funny! I never knew that was a thing til I traveled in the South. I love stuff like that.
Remind me, do you spend a lot of time in the south or just vacations?
I went to college in Virginia.
I just have been there on vacations, but I enjoy it! (: I haven't really spent a lot of time in Virginia, though it looks beautiful. Mostly SC, FL, some LA
SC, FL, and LA are all so different!
I'm going to Alabama next month to visit family.
Virginia is lovely. It's the north of the south. :)
Nsync calls it Dirty Pop! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWZKw_MgUPI
what!
It's a song of theirs from 2001. :)
Yup, pop here as well.

I interchange between soda and pop. No rhyme or reason for it.
Pop is a sound a balloon makes. Soda is a drink.
I feel like the giphy plug-in set up to purposely give out out of context gifs. haha
Thats all the fun!
Coke!
I've lived in New Orleans, Lafayette (Louisiana), and Houston and we always called it "coke".
It's one of my dreams to live in NOLA
NOLA is great, but Lafayette really the "hidden gem". So much more culture here (we're the true heart of Cajun country) and none of the crazy tourist traps of NOLA. We're basically the Austin of Louisiana.
New place added to my list! That sounds awesome.
Soda, and I'm in TN.
Coke
Soda, although my grandmother always called it tonic or pop.
Tonic! That sounds so classy :)
Seriously. I almost want to start calling it soda to sound more pretentious.
Soda! What's wrong with all you crazy people?
Jk. ❤️
no data (: that tiny string of Alaskan islands
