Intergalactic Travels!
My friends and I used to ask each other this question:
If you had the chance to get in a rocket ship and jet-set across the galaxy, seeing really cool things and discovering who-knows-what, would you do it, even if you never came back to Earth? Or would you rather stay on Earth, and just get the photo updates every once in a while?
This assumes that you can actually safely stay alive for the journey. And that we somehow know how to do it. Who are you taking with you? Maybe like, one person, or a robot, or a cat (a la Ripley!)
I think this is a fun question to ponder.
This question was inspired by my friends but also by /astronomy

That was... disappointing

hahahaha i love it
Um...hmmm. Would there be unrealistic artificial gravity? Because being without gravity kind of ruins the human body somewhat awful.
I'm assuming this falls into the "we know how to do it"-category.
Yeah, the whole thing is unrealistic. The point of the question, I think, is more like 'are you willing to leave Earth to see cool stuff' and assumes you will continue existing, albeit unscientifically, in comfort to see it :D
50/50 right now!
We're going places, folks!
I want to see that stuff.
