Hi! I'm Salaam4Everyone (or so I've been told), and I am one of FIVE THOUSAND coffee-grabbers!
LGC just hit 5000 members!
Congrats! Pretty big milestone. :)
YAY!!!!!!

Hi there :)
Hooray! I have seen you posting fun stuff and that's so awesome! I'm so happy you are loving it here :D
Came here from Reddit. Yeah I guess y'all know why.
Feeling a little despair right now. Lately it's not going well for me. That thing happened, and my laptop broke, and just had a fall out with a friend hours ago.
Oh gosh, that's the wooooorst. I'm so sorry. What a mess.
I hope the next day goes better. <3
Thank you, nothing in particular happened so I suppose it's an improvement.
Welcome new people!
I'm exhausted and off to bed (fighting a flu bug, yuck!) but I will peek at this post when I have a moment tomorrow to wave at all the newbies.... ❤💛💚💙💜
Good night! Get lots of rest!
Ah hah, I like these! Hello imzynauts :D
I am Pipsy and I am currently rewatching Donnie Darko because I suddenly got the urge to rent it. That movie is from 2001, guys! 2001! Yikes.
Donnie Darko! I really loved this movie growing up. It's actually the reason I met a friend. I was talking about the scene where the "space tubes" first appear and he joined in like he know us. It was awesome. That and fight club made up some great movie nights through high school. :)
FIGHT CLUB. Now I know the next movie I need to rent! Thanks for that one. :P I don't live in an English-speaking country and by the time new releases come out here I've lost interest so half the time I end up rewatching older movies instead. That is such a great story about how you met your friend! Are you still friends now?
Fight Club is still up there being one of my favorites! No problem! I get that, sometimes even being in an English speaking country the wait for movies out-weighs my interest in them. These days I find myself more into TV shows rather than movies due to longer form content to consume. Yes, we are still very close. I am pretty close to small group of close friends I had growing up. :)
What kind of TV shows are you into? I'm always on the lookout for new shows to watch since I'm all caught up on my current ones and waiting for the next episode seems to take foreeeeeeever, haha.
-insert long list-... That is a hard question, I watch way too much stuff. Currently, I'm really into West World, It's HBOs new show. Probably my favorite at this moment. Over the past year or so, I would say Mr. Robot, The Magicians, and Dark Matter have all been pretty good.
Here is a list of all the crap I've watched, including stuff I'll never finished, https://trakt.tv/users/theopenbox/progress It's my tv progress. I am an addict I think.
Ooh, a lot of these I haven't seen! I am full of glee now, yay for stuff to watch! Thank you so much :D
My sweetie and I are watching Cabin In The Woods, which we downloaded like three months ago. It only took the apocalypse to get around to Movie Night...
I totally get what you mean. It's the perfect time to disconnect from the world for a little bit and do something that doesn't involve thinking about politics!
That movies is so different in terms of horror films. I hope you enjoy it even though it's strange.
I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I'm a little bit too much of a wimp to enjoy traditional horror movies--the last movie I saw with Cam was From Dusk Till Dawn. Also off the beaten path, also funny enough and made in a way that I could enjoy it.
I get scared easily. I love some of the older horror films and almost any that can keep a consistent story, but most just don't do it for me. Cabin in the Woods is a weird movie that is somewhere in the middle and if just a good film with almost 80s like quality.
Same. Visceral, agonized suffering (as well as humiliation) are very hard for me to sit through. I have to get up and walk around without looking at the screen for a bit with most horror flicks and cringe-comedies.
We're only partway though CITW--the stoner just bit the dust.
Cam: "He's my favorite." Me: "Me too! I love this guy. Aw, fuck, he dies, doesn't he?" Cam: guilty look
I want a lot more movies to be this weirdly awesome.
I have a funny thing to tell you about that movie. Remind me next time I see ya. 💜
oh my god I just finished CITW and looooool
Heeeeh. My other half totally worked on that movie. It was filmed up here.
Oh awesome! XD Trivia: apparently Sigourney Weaver's one request for her role was having a scene with a werewolf.
