"Hermits, wise men who live in complete solitude so they can have pure minds and souls, came back into fashion—sort of. Wealthy, eccentric men would employ wizened old guys to live in a fake hermitage on their estate, and make appearances to entertain guests."

This is me. Stowed away in the attic...

Oh my gosh!!!! You are right!!!!

I'm clearly using you as a wealth/fashion statement.

What's it like to have a pure mind and a pure soul, eh?

P.s. Are you getting tired of all the people I send up there to pray?

      • ZorkJun 20, 2016 at 4:43 PMΔ

My mind and soul are sooo clean... clean like my conscience... ;-)

      • ZorkJun 20, 2016 at 4:44 PMΔ

When you send people up, I usually hide in the shadows.

I dropped my soul off at the dry cleaners -- but lost my ticket!

How sad. Maybe we can make you a new ticket.

Will you get a new soul?

      • ZorkJun 20, 2016 at 4:55 PMΔ

I'm not sure if their policy was to resell the soul or discard it... it's been over 30 days... hmm...

      • EilisJun 20, 2016 at 5:22 PMΔ

well too bad I just bought a soul and cut 30% out of it to replace my missing 30%. It's probably yours! Want 70% back?

I took the best parts of the soul :I

      • ZorkJun 20, 2016 at 5:24 PMΔ

    6. thing

If you lived in the early 20th century and wanted a healthy glow, it was easy to find numerous products containing the newly discovered miracle of health—thing! You could get thing in everything from cosmetics to wool for baby clothes. No one knew exactly how thing improved your life, and no one really cared. Good thing the thing was so expensive that manufacturers skimped on adding it to their products!

This made me laugh because you can substitute a lot of modern day buzzwords.

    • EilisJun 20, 2016 at 6:20 PMΔ

      Ha!!!
