So I'm testing the new posting method...

Now I'm testing it on my computer instead of Android, still seems pretty intuitive. But, I better make this about coffee. Ooo, just tested the tags, so this should be tagged Actually About COFFEE now.

ANYWAY, so. Coffee. A friend of mine has been having insanely wicked heartburn/acid reflux lately, and read that if you cold brew the coffee, it's a lot less acidic. Has anyone had this problem, and did cold brew help? Does it affect the flavor at all? Do you use the same amount of coffee, or more, or less? I've never gone this route myself. After the brewing, do you then make it an iced coffee, or can you heat it up? Does heating it change the acidity or is the magic all in the brewing? Which the back of my mind keeps wanting to yell "it isn't brewing if you do it that way, it's steeping!".
