Thought I'd share one of the greatest experiences of my life with you.

These photos are from a few years ago, when MuteMath played in Kansas City with Canon Blue opening. My favorite set I've ever shot, and the best concert I've ever experienced!

Looks like a sweet show! Do you cover sets professionally?

    • colbyklausMay 15, 2016 at 12:11 PM

I do not, no. I wanted to be a professional photographer at one point, and even went to college with the hopes of being a photojournalist. But that didn't pan out.

What a great thing to share! :) I don't have any photos, but one of my greatest experiences was when I got to play for just one concert in a semi professional orchestra as a high schooler. With things like this, it's like you wish you could go revisit the memory in person, too!

That sounds incredible! What instrument(s) do you play?

      • EilisMay 15, 2016 at 2:42 PM

It was incredible! I play oboe and piano, but in this case, got to play oboe. I wasn't first oboe, but it was still wonderful. (: We played Shostakovich Symphony # 5

That does look super cool. I like all the lighting, but I think I like the red lighting best! Did the guy with cymbals come out into the crowd??

    • colbyklausMay 15, 2016 at 12:13 PM

Yeah, MuteMath came out through the crowd, all of them walking in a line with various instruments, while a person at the front and at the back held poles that had lights strung between them. They walked from the back of the crowd up to the stage and then kicked off their show.
