What's your IQ?
My wife always tells me I have the IQ of a rock, or something like so... I figured I prove her wrong by taking an IQ test! Turns out I did ok. Figured I let others join in for fun as well.
To try to avoid making anyone feel weird about sharing I made this a poll, but put my personal results on /saicred if curiosity is eating at you.

Just a heads up, any online IQ test is probably not legitimate at all.
So true! It's not truly legitimate, but it's still fun!
My mom had me take an IQ test when I was a child. She took me to this learning center place in our town, and they asked me questions and asked me to figure out some puzzles and answer logic questions.
She told me that I scored 166, and that of all her children, I was the smartest one. (Imagine how that warps a kid, right?)
I haven't taken a real one since then. I've basically resigned myself to accepting the 166 and pretending that I'm smart, and then hopefully the universe will shape itself around that thought.
So far, so good, as I've generally had a very low opinion of the choices that many other people have made in their lives. So I've got that going for me!
For years I had a false memory of doing a bunch of tests as a child for a scientific study and having the testers comment on how impressive the results were. I'm now pretty sure that happened to my sister, not me. However, I think that falsely believing in that memory still helped my self-image as a kid.
I have the real memory. I remember going back multiple times, and how they had a box of toys in the closet that I got to pick a toy out of at the end of each session to take home. It's a HUGE imprint in my mind.
To be fair, I later acquired plenty of legitimate memories of accomplishments of my own, including plenty of people me I'm smart. I also have plenty of memories of being completely ignorant, stumped, and generally dumb. I think both experiences are valuable.
Agreed! I've actually suffered with extreme self-esteem issues my entire life, to be honest. I've never thought I was any good, and still kind of don't. But I still have an ego about some things, so I don't know where that comes from, and I hate that I have an ego about some things, too, which makes me disappointed in myself even further. I'm spaghetti.
A really interesting question.
I thought so. Online test never the best but still interesting to see.

Sorry you don't like them. I just think they are fun. I'm honestly not that smart though in my eyes.
