That was nicely written.
I completely agree. One of the biggest strengths of the Republican party is (strangely, sadly) their blind trust in the loudest voice. They fall in line, follow and support no matter what.
I'm not suggesting that Dems should do the same kind of unflinching sing-along, but I do believe that genuine faith in grassroots voices/movements needs to be established. Quickly. Mobilization in this case could have been effective.
How do the we get that to happen? How did Republicans gather so quickly? Progressives should do the the same, but, y'know, better.
