Early Morning

Heading off to my early morning ultrasound appointment... Have a long walk in the rain and the dark. Hoping for answers on health related questions. Probably won't get them but one can hope.
We're trying to find out the source of the odd stabbing pains in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen... Could be my gallbladder which is not a huge issue as it has only happened a couple times. However given everything else that is going on they also want to peek at my squishy liver to make sure my body isn't attacking it. Depending on these results and the blood work I'll probably get done tomorrow we'll see where I go from here.
However. This is probably pointless and that is super duper frustrating...
What are you doing this morning?

I hope everything ends up being okay! :(
I dunno about okay but at least once I know what I'm up against it will be easier to deal with. :) thanks. 💛
Primary physician still thinks it's autoimmune (like Lupus or something).
Hopefully you find some kind of answers. I actually got answers at my last appointment. Some I liked and some I didn't but answers none the less. If you do have gallbladder problems I definitely don't envy you any on that. Mine had to be removed via emergency surgery. I couldn't eat or drink and it was producing stones at an alarming rate and one was stuck, all in all just a giant mess.
Ah yes that is the nature of answers isn't it!? I hope things become more manageable for you in the future. 💜
I personally don't think I will have a gallbladder issue, I have only had the pain twice. I'm more worried about my liver and kidneys because that crap runs in my family. Eek. If it ends up being Lupus or another autoimmune condition that is likely the result of all of it. Blah.
Sounds frustrating. Honestly mine only hurt a few times before it decided to just become a huge issue though. Because of my meds I get my liver tested every few months anyway so I usually can always rule that out. I recently found out my leg nerves are dang near perfect apparently. Low B-12 levels were causing what seemed to be nerve pain in my feet.
Surprisingly it was actually that simple. Taking a B-12 supplement and it's improving dramatically and fast. I wasn't even aware there could be a connection there. So grateful for good doctors.
So glad the B supplement is helping. I take a B complex to perk up my energy levels myself.
(PS it's GREAT for hangovers hahaha)
Yeah I was on a med that caused sub clinical hypo-thyroid levels and apparently trashes your liver. I always tested normal for that but recently had higher than normal liver enzymes so we retested that today (tested high 2 months ago).
Not fun. Well hopefully it's nothing too bad.
Haha that's a fun note. Luckily I don't really get hangovers to start with. (Might be the irish blood).
Heehee Lucky!!!
Best wishes!
Therapy, IKEA, Apple Store, Sam's, home. Then maybe nap?
nice! I got my ultrasound at 8am and bloodwork done by 8:30 so here I am at quarter to 9 curling back up at home for more hours than I expected before work. I totally found a short cut trail on my way back down from the hospital that shaved 10 plus minutes off my walk back down. Handy.
Woot! Shortcut!
It's sleeting here. Lovely weather, as everybody inside fights for space in the aisles at the grocery store with their enormous carts.
Ewww sleet AND people? I envy you not.
Hooray for shortcuts! I'm glad you got that rest after the hike to the scan. I hope you get some answers soon. X
Thank you! ❤
