oatmeal, forest, and rust

I made more macramé yesterday. I love its beautiful Holly Hobbie blue...

And I created a site where I'll be showcasing said macramé, and my zines too: Renouveau 70.

I'm going to make another five pieces or so and then I'll list them on Etsy. It's going to be a bit difficult because every time I create another wall-hanging, I want to keep it!

My mom was very impressed with the one I made for her birthday.

I really, really, really love making macramé. Really. It's good for my brain.

Today, I received my Renouveau 70 market table banner, and it's completely fabulous. The business cards are too; I'll attach them to the pieces and write the price on these cards when I do market stuff.

I got more cords on the way, wine colored, oatmeal, forest, rust...

The peri-menopause hot flashes are back after a brief reprieve, and oy. Last night it was sucking the life out of me, though I did manage to get fairly good sleep somehow.

I got American news—most news—on "mute" these days. I just can't take it. It's debilitating; I get the the point where I can barely function. So I'm ignoring it. With PTSD, life is already hard enough on regular days.

Yesterday, I was feeling anxious, but a little Jack Daniel's and heeeeeeey. Everything was better. Watching the Trailer Park Boys while drinking said Jack Daniel's was also extremely helpful.

In other news, when I vacuum the white shag carpet next to the bed, I practicallly turn into Pepe Le Pew or something. "Ah, let us make beautiful music togezzzer..."

In other other news, I highly recommend eating a Pop Tart in the evening, before going to bed. It's a magical thing.
