As I wallow in my ongoing Hannibal obsession, a big part of it has been Will's gradual capitulation to his darker self. So much of what makes the show so great is that I can see the inner workings of Will's mind, that he does ponder and yearn for Hannibal and yet sees him as a great Evil. When he tells Hannibal, in the midst of an ongoing, successful seduction, that he has abandoned Good and Evil for Behaviorism, it opens his mind to Hannibal's way of thinking. As much as he fights it, he can't help but realize that he wants Hannibal; he wants beauty and blood and death and art. When he finally realizes his "becoming," for one moment, it is perfection, and he has no regrets.

I love talking about Hannibal and Will. Don't you?
