Oh.. I'm gonna be sick
I got new lenses from a new prescription put into the inserts in my Daywalkers and just wearing them not moving makes me nauseous. My left eye gets double vision.
I can't tell if this is new glasses adjustment period or if someone screwed up. But oh man...

That seems like a fuck-up on their part. This happened with one of my prescriptions once. You should go get re-examined.
I've only had these for an hour. They said if 24 hours later it still seems off to come back in. The prescription IS different from the one I've had for 3 years, but I don't know if it's wildly different.
So I'm not sure if this is because of a new prescription or because they made the lens wrong...
But the only way to find out is to force myself to wear them for the accepted break in period.
I had a glasses company screw up with how far away from my face the lenses were, and I was getting wicked vertigo all the time. It was terrible and took them like 3 adjustments to get it right. Hope yours get better.
Good luck with the new lenses I hope they don't need adjusting because that's the worst.
In order of preference, I hope it's just a matter of adjustment. That a tech screwed up a made the lens. That I have to get another eye exam even though I just got one. Because that last one will probably cost me what's left of my FSA for this year.
Gah, that must be so disorienting. I once knocked a lense out of my glasses while blinking and just about threw up when I opened my eye again. Not a pleasant experience and I imagine it has nothing on seeing double with one eye and normally with the other.
I honestly think I would feel a lot better if the left lens were out entirely.
i got it once and they'd got the left and right lenses backward, since then i try my glasses on upside down just in case....
It sounds like it's a mistake on their part because a new prescription shouldn't cause nausea. This happened with one of my prescriptions once. The place said that I must wear them for 24-hours because "you'll get used to the new prescription." I was like, I've been wearing glasses for next to 20 years. I think I know when there's something up with the prescription lol. I wore them for 20 minutes since they insisted that I'd adjust to them and I was like, fine. We'll try it your way! I got so ill. It turns out there was a mistake and the prescription was too strong in one of the lenses. My vertigo was like NOPE in them.
I hope it gets sorted. I would def call and have them checked out.
