Self-promotion is allowed. If you are posting your own fic and would like concrit, please include a note saying so in your comment.
You can see a complete list of all fics that have been shared in our Fanfiction Thursday posts here and on reddit at our Fanfiction Thursday collection on AO3, or reblog last week's recs at @marvelfansofreddit.
Note: Feel free to rec fics even if they have been recced in the past - I can only bookmark them once, but we can discuss them as often as we want!
Happy reading!

Near No Accustomed Hand
Steve/Bucky, explicit
Summary: Killing and dying are nothing at all, except when it comes to Steve Rogers. Pathetic.
Comments: Post-TWS, Bucky wants to make Steve understand that he's not Bucky anymore.
Around the Fire by Vera (Vera_DragonMuse). Loki/Thor, rated Mature. Loki/Thor as Van Helsing-like vampire hunters.
I really liked the way this AU depicted their possible life together and how it came to be that way. It played on canon in various ways yet still revealed the richness that their time together could offer despite its grimness.
Love among the Hydrothermal Vents by DevilDoll. Steve/Tony. Explicit.
Summary: In which Namor has a thing for Steve, an octopus has a thing for Tony, and Steve and Tony eventually have a thing for each other.
Comment: This is one of my all-time favorites regardless of fandom or pairing. I'm a sucker for a good Fake Relationship fic, and this one is excellent. Namor is highly entertaining here; it's a shame he isn't used more in MCU fic (this one incorporates some 616 canon, but I don't think it's necessary to be familiar with it to thoroughly enjoy the story). Also includes: (Mutual) Pining and Misunderstandings.
I remember reading this one! And yes, I hadn't read any stories with Namor before so I didn't know how canonical the author's take was but I agree on how amusing his role is.
