This is such a great story, one of my fave FrostIron fics. Kinda reminiscent of Guardians of the Galaxy in terms of theme and setting... a unique and very captivating story of adventure... love... friendship... it's awesome go read it guys! ^_^
I also enjoyed it, and quite liked the OCs in the story. Nothing like taking a long journey when you're enjoying the trip :)
Where I Want to Be - Darwin/Alex Rated T
I love this fic so much as it fits into canon while also being a fixit. It's cute and angsty and fluffy all at once.
I'm currently reading Strife of the Trickster by Orange_Hollow. It's a WIP that is 8 chapters along and is a Loki/Tony AU. This takes place years before the events of Thor 1 would have occurred. Loki is on a secret mission to Muspelheim and he runs into Tony who is a native of the realm.
Though it could use better beta'ing, the story has been quite interesting and there have been all sorts of little details included about the world, which Loki is unfamiliar with. So we get to learn about it as he does, making the story seem much bigger than the central plot so far. To this point the story has been mostly about the two of them but it looks like it's now expanding into a larger cast of characters.
I also just finished This is Gospel by TheAdventures_of_Me. There are a lot of stories where Loki just turns up in Avengers Tower sometime after The Avengers film and to be honest I find it difficult to keep them all straight. In this case, Loki is not surprised to find himself ending up at the Tower due to the energies left behind by the portal, but is quite surprised to find himself in Tony's lab. Tony is equally surprised to find him half blue and bleeding out.
This story could also use a good beta but there was something light hearted and relatively angst free (considering what both have been through) about it that kept me reading. To be honest I don't think Loki's much in character, though there is something of an explanation for that late in the story. I also wish Pepper could have been dealt with differently and Rhodey is mysteriously completely absent (given Tony's situation). But there is a sequel and I liked the story enough that I will be trying it out as well. Given where things left off I would like to see how things might fall into place as the tale goes forward.
I just finished reading Truth Behind Masks by scifigrl47 (Steve/Tony, Mature) Summary: Steve Rogers has plenty of friends. He just doesn't know two of them are the same man. That's just how Tony Stark/Iron Man likes it. Until he comes to regret it.
This has been a WIP for a while so I was really excited to see that it was finished recently. It's got great Identity Porn and a little bit of jealousy. There's a full cast of MCU Avengers, plus a few more, who are all terrible gossips. Steve is adorably confused because he might have feelings for Tony Stark AND Iron Man, and he thinks they just might be sleeping together. It's all a bit complicated. :)
I love Stony! and I haven't read this one left so I cant wait to read this one!!
Ooooh, I love Sci's writing! I don't think I've read one of her fics yet that I didn't enjoy.
