Self-promotion is allowed. If you are posting your own fic and would like concrit, please include a note saying so in your comment.
You can see a complete list of all fics that have been shared in our Fanfiction Thursday posts here and on reddit at our Fanfiction Thursday collection on AO3, or reblog last week's recs at @marvelfansofreddit.
Note: Feel free to rec fics even if they have been recced in the past - I can only bookmark them once, but we can discuss them as often as we want!
Happy reading!

Not Without You (Steve/Bucky, explicit)
I'm not a lingerie person, but Best Girl by one of the same authors damn near melted my brain, so I decided to give this fic a shot despite chubby kink not being my thing either (nor zombies, for that matter), and uh, yeah. More with the brain-meltingly hot sex scenes, and bonus plot, too!
If you're looking for a fic that deepens and enriches your understanding of the characters and canon, this ain't the one for you, but if you're in the mood for a fun and action-packed read with a heaping dose of kink, it's a good candidate.
What Did They Aim For When They Missed Your Heart? by Setari is a soulmate fic with Loki/Pepper Potts/Tony Stark rated Explicit. I haven't read many stories with soulmate tropes as I'm not all that fond of it but I particularly liked the way that Pepper was portrayed here. I also thought that Loki's relationship with Sif was depicted in a much more believable way when it came to the incident with her hair.
The discussion of the prejudices that dual soulmate individuals faced (on Midgard and Asgard) also gave this some interesting twists. The story does eventually fit into the Avengers' timeline but spends most of its time before that.
