How much time per day do you spend worrying?
I am at an extreme, I know this because I have OCD and anxiety, but I want to know how much time a day you spend worrying on average? I'd also love it if you would comment with any strategies you have to stop yourself from worrying?




I'd love to hear strategies for coping with worry. My two strategies that work more than others are:
Both are hard for me to do a lot of.
Trying to stay in the moment and remembering that I'm not a mind reader helps with my anxiety. (Mainly social)
Interesting how evenly balanced all the votes are.
Writing. Whether I'm literally just writing down what's worrying me (get it out of my head!!) or I'm writing a list of what I need to accomplish/finish to order for the worrying to go away, it helps tremendously.
There's also this app (I have an Android) called Calm that I lovelovelovelovelove. It has ocean sounds, moving water, wind, rain, fireplace, etc. If my thoughts aren't very intrusive, this helps to soothe me.
