A thing that I tried (it didn't work)

What happened so far: I switched to weekly logs because dailies don't work for me, but the weeklies I tried are too inflexible. So I was trying to make a thing that is basically a list, but for a whole week, inspired by the Alastair Future Log. (That I wouldn't try that for fear of missing entries should have told me how this was going to go.)

(That is: one 1-square-column per day to put signifiers into, actual tasks next to it as list.)

It was fun to write things into this layout, but impossible to see a day's events and tasks at one glance. One of the things that I love about Bullet Journaling is that I don't have to keep all the things and their connections present in my mind, consuming energy and making me loose focus, and can look them up quickly any time. That function was lost for me, way too tedious to go looking for stuff.

When was looking for alternatives to try this week, I found another person who apparantly used something like this, but for tasks only.

What I'm trying this week is small boxes for events and some structure, plus space for tasks next to it. I'll mostly write the tasks next to the relevant day. The first flaw that I found is that there is no space for taskes that can be done whenever, and everything is very narrow. I'll need to add that If I try it again, and probably use two pages.
