For those whose Bullet Journal is primarily a tool to reduce disaster, and not necessarily a piece of art.
a fairly clean page of my hideously washi-decorated bujo

i started bullet journaling about a month ago, so i'm still getting the hang of it, but here's a pretty clean-looking page from my journal, which as you can see i've decorated with washi tape in the ugliest way imaginable, mostly bc the washi tape is pretty and makes me happy.
the book i use is a longstitch book i made myself (i'm a book conservation student so i make a lot of models). it's very thick so i think next time i'll make a book specifically for the purpose, rather than just snagging one of my models. as a student i get student-grade paper for free, but i might have to pony up for gridded paper next time, we'll see.
i've been on meds for 9 years BUT i'm still terrible at taking my pills in the morning. but they go in my bujo every day as a reminder, and if i take them it's a super easy thing to check off. same with the 15+ minutes of cleaning.
as the day approaches, these pages get messier and messier, unsurprisingly. but! i wanted to share it bc i love the decoration aspect of bujo but am not good at doing it prettily at all!! but it still makes me happy to do that in a small way, at least. :)

guh your washi tape is so cute. i also am totally all about the "something easy to tick off" list. it's so satisfying?
book conservation :o omg that sounds so cool. and omg, using books that you made yourself!! :O :O :O
yay for the washi tape, i really like the smug looking hearts :D
wow that is so pretty with the tape!! i love how it looks!
