Trump Staff Shake-Up Slows Transition to Near Halt
WASHINGTON - President-elect Donald J. Trump 's transition operation plunged into disarray on Tuesday with the abrupt resignation of Mike Rogers, who had handled national security matters, the second shake-up in a week on a team that has not yet begun to execute the daunting task of taking over the government.
The turmoil at the highest levels of his staff upended months of planning and preparation for a process that many describe as drinking from a fire hose even in the most orderly of circumstances — a period of about 70 days between the election and the inauguration on Jan. 20. During that time, the president-elect must assemble a team to take the reins of the vast federal bureaucracy and recruit, vet and hire 4,000 political appointees to help him run it.

it is the same as Brexit - the winner didn't really think they'd win and now has no fucking clue what to do going forward. At least there's a standard process for what a president has to do, the UK government still has no clue how to proceed...
I didn't realize the UK government was still floundering about how to proceed. :(
yeah - there was a leaked memo saying they don't know what they are doing that they are denying is true but apart from May being all "we're definitely triggering article 50 in March 17" there's been nothing else concrete about how post-Brexit Britain will look.
They can't even decide if Parliament gets to vote on it
