So when you're writing, be it fannish or original, do you sometimes wind up with multiple iterations of the characters you use? Like, do you have AUs of AUs, in the what-if sense, that wind up with characters that are recognizable as SPECIFIC CHARACTER, b... So Imzy just told me there are over a hundred of you lurking here? Outlines perhaps? Mixes to inspire? I'm still unsold on the idea of committing, because I feel I should do Original, but my head is stuck in Fannish. Or, more explicitly, don't get a scene in your head, three parts down from where you are in posting the serial, and leave it at a cliffhanger in your own docs. I have a seriously pissed off muse that won't let me sleep. If you're doing NaNo, feel free to use the comm to brainstorm, find buddies, bounce ideas... anything that helps you! That includes propping this month! ... how hard do you try to make them, well, alien? I'm toying with a fic now that involves one human and two different aliens, and thinking on what I want to see.
