Free Talk Friday
Hey, it's Free Talk Friday, our weekly chat thread! Discuss whatever!
- What are you reading, and how are you enjoying it?
- If you could pick one stalled series to continue, which one would it be?
- If you haven't already, go vote for your fave bdsm erotica series (or lament that your fave is superior to any of hte ones I listed :P )
(Also super sorry about how late this was created. It turns out Friday happens every single week. Who knew!)

I'm currently diverting slightly out of my usual shifter tropes to read Lord Mouse, by Mason Thomas. It's a pretty straightforward high-fantasy book with gay characters. Low heat factor so far, but we'll see.
It's been a busy week for reading for me. There's been Kit Brisby's Rogue Magic (4.5/5, enjoyable and suspenseful paranormal/science fiction), Julia Talbot's Wolfmanny (3.75/5, low-drama shifter story that still has some enjoyable domesticity and DAMN HOT m/m/m scenes), and Lynn Lorenz' Bayou des Enfants (Rougaroux Social Club #4) (5/5, Nice return to the characters from book 1, gay-couple-adopting-kids, but with werewolves). I don't flatter myself that anyone cares, but I post reviews for most everything I read on my blog if only to slow myself down a bit: http://wolfhusky.net/duncan/wp/category/bookreviews/
As for stalled (or ongoing) series, I'd love to see more of Jordan Hawke's Hexworld, and something more in Eli Easton's How to Howl at the Moon series. Also, Andrea Speed can write pretty much anything in the Infected universe and I'd buy it :)
Still no reading on my end... I feel like I should be throwing more recs up. Sorry!
I'm thinking of having the next themed series vote be for Werewolf stories... maybe a few of you like shifters? :P
Shifters, you say? I mean, I suppose I read a few shifter books <snicker> I'd be up for that, of course!
