What are your go-to Photography apps?

Arguably over-processed, but this is a combo of Color Splash and Picfx (a long term favourite). Curious to know what other favourites everyone has...

first post here, congrats!😀 I hope that in the future this will become a vibrant community of mobile photography enthusiasts! on topic, my main editing app of choice used to be VSCO but lately I'm more of a Snapseed user, I find that it gives me more control over my editing. I'll post some pics soon to get some feedback.
Definitely post some examples, I'd love to see! I'm also loving Prisma lately, it's good fun (will post below) I've got both Snapseed and VSCO but haven't learned to use them yet. I find I have a whole iPhone page of photo apps and then can't remember what they all do so just use the same one or two all the time! Lightroom has been fantastic, I think I'll find that hard to beat now
I'm pretty sure that's exactly what all of us do, download a million apps and just stick to one or two that suit us the most! I just posted my first photo and I would love some feedback, thanks =)
An example of Prisma filters - they make your photo look like different well known styles of painting
the technology behind Prisma is amazing, it's truly unique! my only gripe with it is that the edited pictures, though amazing, don't feel 'my own'
I think that's a fair comment. When you use something like Snapseed and you can chose which elements to tweak you're in complete control, with Prisma you just press a button. But sometimes it's fun to make something a little different. Have you ever used Tiny Planets? That's a lot of fun too!
I've used Tiny Planet FX pro (which I believe is a similar app) in the past and it's definitely fun and the results can be great with a little tweaking but I was never good at it and I eventually gave up!
Cities are the easiest, but I had made really cool random ones...just been trying to find them, but the new iOS does my head in!
wow that is amazing!
Hong Kong for the win!
definitely a photo that i never could have taken in Athens, there are no skyscrapers here!
None where I live either! The trick is to pick a shot that has a clear central line with different content above and below that line. Reflections can work quite well, worth playing around with!
thanks for the info, i'm quite immersed in b&w street photography lately but I will definitely try it when I get the chance!
Always fun for a quick play session, b&w on the street is a lot of fun too. Do you shoot in monotone straight off, or shoot in color then edit?
I'm still at my early experimentation days regarding photography so I do both, I like Hipstamatic for straight off monotone shooting but I usually just shoot with the default camera app and then decide whether the editing will be in b&w or color
I tend to shoot in color all the time and then see where the edit takes me. Some shots just look so much better in b&w don't they! I like to have the option to go either way!
I totally agree with everything you said!
