This one usually gets the party started. Oh, it's been a couple of weeks since the Slow Stitching Retreat at Medomak in Washington, Maine and I long to be back there prodding folks to sew smaller, lingering on the porch in rocking chairs, and hanging with some of the best folks on the planet. I think this is super cool. Some of my friends in my guild are going to do it with me. What do you think? Seems like modern quilters are the saving grace of the industry! I think Crafty Planner is my favorite crafty podcast. A great mix of guests, top notch production (eg it sounds good) and lots of interesting conversation. The Plaid Portico does such a wonderful job of documenting modern quilt shows! Love it. In 2017 Quiltcon will come to Savannah for the first time. Is anyone planning on going? Or have you been to Quiltcon before? My local guild (South Florida MQG) will be joining in to support this drive.
