Fireproof human skulls for your gas fireplace, barbeque or fire-pit

They're $65 each, handmade from "lava granules plus significant heat ceramic refractory," available in black and white. (via Geekologie)

    OK THESE ARE WONDERFUL.

We have a fire pit and a neighbour who needs to take us more seriously, haha.

I enjoy that the leading motivation to buy these is "scare the neighbors"

      Haha yes!

I really think they brought it on themselves. ☺

when i showed these to my spouse, i had to remind them that we don't even have a fire-pit yet, and that we should see what our money's like in the summer--

they really, really like these. i'll post pics if/when we get some.

Oh wow. My neighbours already think I'm odd, I need these.

These are pretty cool, and they will last forever. That only makes it even better.

    From the amazon questions

    Question:

What is the maximum heat that these are rated to withstand? I can build some seriously hot bonfires.

    Answer:

Dear Brick Wall, I get the reply from the engineer at factory, said: "These are all high heat refractory, which is the type of ceramic material that NASA uses to test rocket engines on. You would need to reach around 3000*F before the skull would melt or crumble. They will be good in any conventional bonfire!" Thank you for choosing Myard logs from PayandPack store.
