Moonbeam Cafe: for the night owls. We are not afraid of the dark. Pour a drink and stay a while.
A tricky language problem
So! You're in an intimate situation and you get to that fearful point: the point where you want to say something about a part of the body, or an action of the body, but all the words are
A) silly
B) terrifying, or
C) just anything else - why do these words not sound wonderful? Who knows!
The point being, what are the terms that you do and do not like to use? And why?
Feel free to be perfectly serious, or let loose and be a little silly. This is Moonbeam Cafe after all!

I'm okay with any words to be honest. Just the more juvenile ones will elicit giggles.
hehehe.
I really don't like a lot of them myself to use romantically, especially like clinical sounding ones. Or the really wishy washy sounding ones (those might be the juvenile ones you refer to?)
Honestly the more vulgar or strong a word sounds, the more likely I will be like "heck yeah!" versus busting out giggling!
:)
Anyone who can say "peepee" or "hoohoo" with a straight face is not my type of person haha.
oh good lord, they had BETTER NOT try to use those with me.
I like c--k and c--t and that is about it
C words.... bwahaha
I too enjoy C-Words!!
hehehehe
A great poet once said,
Is this another one of those song references I won't get!
Another movie I haven't seen!
It's a movie about a little wooden boy who's trying to be good but is constantly faced with temptations to be bad, and constantly choosing the naughty, dangerous paths.
WHAT'S GOOD! WHAT'S BAD! WHO KNOWS!!!
I know :-)
please illuminate for the rest of us!!!
.... yes .... I'm bad what can I say lol
I had a good chuckle at this
If something silly slips my lips, I like to think I can laugh it off with, "My god, that sounded like something from a trashy novel!"
Banned dirty words have the power of taboo. And they don't have to be used in an arch way. I think the weight of the word can do all the cutting; a light touch suffices...
Regarding common (not-dirty-enough, trivializing) words for body parts... I think it's endearing when people use those words to refer to their own body. (Self-deprecating jokes endear me to people too.) But I wouldn't like to use them to refer to other people's bodies. The uses seem mainly comedic?
How could I forget! Of course it's about taboo! Haha. Everything is always about taboo 😊
Well not really but that does explain the allure of less used words.
I refuse to use "cum" in anything I ever write. That's not how it's spelled!
But otherwise, if it matches the tone of what I'm writing, then any word is game.
ugh, yes, I dislike that too! it seems too bizarrely juvenile.
Yeah, game for most anything to try, especially in writing!
:)
