Now, the questions!
Favourite trips?
- I actually can't stand traveling, I prefer to not leave the house unless I absolutely have to (as in 'for work' and 'to get groceries' OR as in 'I have to travel to the UK because of Sir Patrick being in a play'). But there was one trip I really enjoyed, and that was in 9th grade, when my entire class went to Cologne for a few days. Our hotel was in the red light district, a place that was DEFINITELY not for people our age, lol, and the teacher was so drunk one night that we had to carry him out of our room. No one really slept at any given time and I honestly don't remember any sightseeing except for the chocolate museum. I don't think we did anything other than smoking cigarettes, playing cards and watching x rated television, lol. It was the BEST TRIP EVER. Our teacher basically let us do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted and yet there were no major incidents, at least I don't remember any.
Best boardgame you've ever played?
- I used to play boardgames against myself when I was a kid, but I no longer do so these days. (Probably because you need more than one person for today's board games and I have no real life friends.) My favorite was a board game called "mouse trap". I still have it, in fact.
A book that resonates with you?
- "The Neverending Story". It accompanied me all through my childhood and I wanted nothing more than to go to Fantasia and be friends with Atreyu and fight alongside him and Falkor but then STAY there somehow. Atreyu was one of my heroes and I wanted to be just like him. Ah well, there are worse role models, I guess. The book still resonates with me today because I took its message to heart and never really grew up and I never lost my imagination either. These days I wish they would finally make a decent movie out of it (I'm 100% with Michael Ende, he hated the movie they made back then) AND that they let Sir Patrick voice Falkor.

Hahaha wow that would be quite the trip! I weirdly like travelling so long as I have a snuggly space in a hotel where I can go hide when I'm all peopled out. 💚
Mousetrap was amazing. If I can think of any fun singleplayer boardgames in the future I'll let you know. I'm a big boardgame geek, it's hard to find games suited for just two players too so I feel your pain.
The Neverending Story! Good choice. I never grew up either. Forever young.
Pumped that you answered my questions. Looking forward to getting to know more about you as things leap to mind!
Thank you! I'm glad you like my answers! I was worried they were too short. (I hate my social anxiety.)
I wasn't like I am today back then, I enjoyed the time with all my classmates. I remember how we tried to sleep in one bed with five other people. lol Unthinkable, this, for me today, but back then it was all incredibly funny to me and everyone else involved. I also remember how we hid a few more classmates in the bathroom so that the teacher wouldn't find them - we weren't supposed to have them in our room, haha - but since he was drunk and couldn't count anymore anyway it didn't matter, lol.
I would definitely play more board games if there were any good ones for just one player. Sadly, most are indeed for two or more players. People don't seem to realize that introverts would like to play a board game from time to time as well. I can still play the old board games of mine that I kept, I'm a master at playing against myself, but I'd love to have one that is designed to be played by just ONE player.
People who are all grown up scare me. No fun, ever, and everything they do seems so artificial to me somehow. No fun allowed.
I'm always happy to answer more questions, you can throw them at me any time you want to! :)
