No excuses

The gym I go to is in the next city, a 15-minute drive on a Sunday, but that turns into an ugly 1 hour on a weekday. Traffic is brutal, parking is brutal, and going to the gym carves out three hours from my work schedule.
It's Sunday today, so I figured: no traffic, no parking trouble, no excuses! Off I went.
The gym is private, so you have the place (and trainer's attention) all to yourself. Practicing bespoke fitness, they customize the workout depending on what your body needs. Today it was Pilates and TRX, with lots of planking, crunches, pull-ups, and squats on a Bosu.
I have to keep telling myself this is good for me, because it feels more like torture :p

wow you have quite a trip to get to your gym on a weekday, the traffic problems sound very similar to the ones we have here in the UK! Travelling 20 miles along the nearby motorway during the day, late at night or at quiet times on the weekends will take about 20 mins. During the morning and evening rush hours it can take up to an hour stuck in slow moving traffic - and just add one or two minor accidents and the whole thing comes to a complete halt!
I didn't know traffic could get so bad there as well! It makes me not want to get out of the house sometimes :p
Yeah, the worst motorway is the M25 that circles London, it's known as the largest carpark in Europe because of how bad the traffic gets at peak times!
And yeah I really hate it when I have to drive at peak times!
I got curious, so I Googled the M25 motorway and found this: http://www.standard.co.uk/news/transport/britains-most-hated-motorway-the-m25-turns-30-years-old-a3381706.html
You weren't kidding about the carpark! :o
