In light of recent Trumplings taking over Reddit, I really hope we can thwart hateful elements here on Imzy

So basically a Facebook but that allows handles/names that are not your real name ? :D
Yeah I mentioned elsewhere: Facebook + Reddit + Twitter.
I see it as the evolution of these services as Imzy takes the best elements from these networks.
Facebook: (like you mentioned) rooted in real name so decreases chance of spam/hatemessages.
Reddit: Aliases galore! You can be known as falano in this sub and something else in another and no one will know (except maybe the admins). The trolling is minimized cause those aliases are linked to your main profile. Also if a mod bans you from a sub, ALL your aliases are banned.
Twitter: You follow subs. There are no default subs. You get periodical suggestion. /home is your timeline.
The challenge offcourse is onboarding users. I always like checking out new technology and wishing them luck so for me it was a no brainer. Lets see how this site fares. I sure wish they grow big!
I do too, I had tried joindiaspora.com as well once, sadly it did not live up to it's hype, had liked it's implementation.
Diaspora!
Touted as the Facebook killer. Sadly. It wasnt. I think the motives behind such efforts are genuine but the other half is also money! Something Imzy is working on (http://www.recode.net/2016/5/20/11715602/reddit-employees-safer-tamer-imzy)
Ahh... let's see what happens. Cheers!!!
