The intersection of being neurodivergent and also queer.
Ableism in mainstream queer communities
I talked about autgender in /queeries and got banned for it. What can I do about ableism in mainstream queer communities?
Edit: I wanna fight ableism so others don't have to.

You got banned specifically for mentioning 'autgender'? What justification did they give?
"Troll".

Please explain to me how you're not a troll.
I'm autgender. My gender is autism. That's how autgender works.
Oh, like that. I think it's poor phrasing to say that your gender is autism. Like, call yourself autgender or autigender, or say that your gender identity can only be understood in terms of being autistic or something. But autism is not a gender. It's a neurotype.
Honestly, while ableism in queer (and many other) communities is a problem, this wasn't an example of it. This was simply you being mistaken for a troll.
You can go to https://www.imzy.com/queeries/leaders, click "Message the community leaders", and politely explain what happened. Maybe they'll unban you and unremove your post.
I don't identify as autgender publicly, because of ableism (that's why I made the post as anon). It bothers me that I can't message the leaders anonymously.
But eh, I guess I have to do it like that. :/
Oh I didn't realise you can't do that anonymously. :( I could message them on your behalf if you'd like?
I already did, so meh :/
Actually, if you're the person who originally reported me, then please do. Because they don't seem to be listening to me...
Anyway, what can I do about ableism in queer communities?
