After Population Plunge, Once Common Bumble Bee Officially Listed as Endangered

The noble and rare rusty-patched bumble bee is officially endangered. A once common bee that inhabited 28 states, the rusty-patched bumble has become the first bee from the continental United States to be added to the endangered species list.

So I know honey bees are not native to the US and where brought over from England but its been a few hundred years since they where brought over. So trees and plants have evolved along with the bees to pollinate and spread their pollen. If bees did vanish would the plants be ok and could other insects take over what bees did?
