Boeing's North Charleston workers vote against Machinists union representation
Organized labor suffered its biggest defeat in decades in South Carolina on Wednesday, with thousands of Boeing Co. workers saying they do not want to be represented by the International Association of Machinists union. "We're disappointed the workers at Boeing South Carolina will not yet have the opportunity to see all the benefits that come with union representation" said IAM lead organizer Mike Evans.

From reading the comments on the article the GOP and Boeing have done a great job convincing workers that unions are bad.
Well, they're bad for Boeing, that's for sure. It's why they moved the plant from WA to SC in the first place.
They dont really have to be bad for Boeing though, unions work well in other countries like Germany but here they are neutered as much as possible by the right. They can help the companies and workers and make sure there are safe working conditions and the workers are paid fairly for the work they do.
